Threading

Threading is a hair removal technique that uses 100% cotton thread. It is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted out from the follicle. It is said to be more precise than waxing, and without risk of burns. Eyebrow Threading means removal and cleanup of unwanted growth of eyebrow hairs. This technique can also be used on the lip, chin and sideburn area.

The sensation of threading usually takes 1-2 times to get used to, but people say it hurts less than waxing. Many say it doesn't hurt at all. It can be described as tweezing several hairs out at the same time. Eyebrow threading can be used to eliminate a unibrow, raise the arch of the eyebrow, or add shape and definition to the brow. Because it removes hair by the follicle, it is a reasonably long lasting hair removal technique as well.
